Scope
This Cookie Policy explains how the CoDesk website uses cookies and similar local technologies. A cookie is a small text value stored by a browser; local storage is a browser area used to remember settings on the same device. The separately hosted CoDesk console may also use essential authentication and security cookies.
Technologies we use
The public CoDesk website currently uses only technologies needed to provide requested functions and remember choices.
- Language preference: the codesk_locale cookie remembers the language you select and supports the correct localized page on later visits.
- Appearance preference: browser local storage remembers light, dark, or system theme selection.
- Console authentication and security: the CoDesk console may use session or token storage needed to sign you in, keep the session secure, prevent abuse, and maintain selected settings.
- Server logs: our servers may record request metadata for security and reliability. These logs are not browser cookies but are described in the Privacy Policy.
No advertising cookies
The public website does not currently set advertising cookies or use cookies for cross-site behavioral profiling. If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar technologies, we will update this policy and present consent choices where required before activating them.
Your choices
You can change the language and theme through the website controls. You can also delete or block cookies and site data in browser settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent language preferences, sign-in, security features, or parts of the console from working correctly.
Third-party destinations
Links to app stores, payment providers, identity providers, or other websites take you to services with their own cookie practices. Review their policies for details. We do not control storage set on an independent third-party domain.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy if our use of cookies or similar technologies changes. Questions can be sent to the contact address shown on this page.
