Set Up Unattended Access

Unattended access allows you to connect to a remote device without anyone needing to be present to accept the connection.

Set a Permanent Password

1. On the remote device, open CoDesk
2. Click the menu icon → Settings → Security
3. Set a Permanent Password
4. Save the settings

Now you can connect anytime using this password without needing someone at the remote end.

Auto-Start

To ensure CoDesk starts automatically with the system:

Windows

CoDesk installs as a service by default. Check Settings → General → Start at boot

macOS

Enable Start at Login in CoDesk settings

Linux

sudo systemctl enable codesk
sudo systemctl start codesk

Security Tips

• Use a strong permanent password
• Enable 2FA if supported by your server
• Regularly review your connection logs in the admin panel
